The proceeds of the concert will benefit the charitable institutions of the Avadhoota Datta Peetham in India. These include, among others, a hospital, primary and secondary schools, a school for children with speech impairments, and the free distribution of food and meals. Sri Swamiji personally experienced poverty during his childhood. He often says that there is no greater act of charity than the offering of food (Annadana).
